POPLAR SNT will conduct a community WALK and TALK DO along WILL CROCK ESTATE on 27th October, engaging with local residents and members of the community focusing on VAWG (Violence against women and girls).The event aims to raise awareness of VAWG, promote women's safety in public spaces and provide an opportunity for local residents to share any concerns with officers. SNT officers will engage with the community, offers reassurance and encourage the reporting of harassment, intimidation, antisocial behaviour and other incidents affective personal safety. The initiative forms part of Poplar SNT's ongoing commitment to preventing violence against women and girls, improving community confidence and working towards safe public spaces for everyone. Local residents are encouraged to participate and speak with officers about any safety concerns of issues affecting the area. |
